Just for dumb fun, based strictly on the track names, which songs are you looking forward to most?

    For me:

    Los Angeles
    No Future
    Kings of the Weekend
    San Diego
    The Only Thing That Matters
    California

The fact that I could have seen Blink, Weezer, and pre-hiatus Fall Out Boy in one show and didn't is one of my biggest regrets.

I dunno if I want a whole album of straightforward pop punk songs like "Bored to Death". I like the song fine, but love the untitled album for being so dynamic, there's romantic and melodic stuff, angsty and dark stuff, artful and melancholic stuff. I hope there's similar range. Or at least a semblance of it.

I will miss Tom's voice. I love he and Mark's interplay, one of my favorite parts of the band, along with his riffs. I'd say I'll miss his riffs but he hasn't written a decent one in ten years.

I am 29 years young. Found AP.net because of Blink 182. This is the first time I've been excited about their music since the "Untitled" album. It is weird to say that this is Blink 182 considering one of the main founders/songwriters isn't a part of it anymore, but fuck I really love having a new song from this band that is actually good.

Although I do think this song is pretty fucking great, I can't help but to think this polished production takes it to a whole new level. Neighborhoods had some good songs but overall felt pretty lifeless and pieced together. If it would have sounded as big as this new song, I'd imagine it would have gone over a little better.

Still though, the actual song quality is much better here than any of Mark's songs from the last two releases. He sang without much feeling in his voice and gave up much of that pop melody that he used to be so good at.

All of this makes me think that if Tom had been more open to working in the same studio and using a producer to filter ideas, boost the sound and get some better performances out of them, Neighborhoods could have been a classic blink record.

Comments about the song on facebook are so incredibly annoying right now. "Nice...new +44 song."

Expressing your love for a Blink 182 chorus on Chorus. It's a perfect storm that was meant to be.

The song is also on Spotify.

Seems like they have their own label, too. Viking Wizard Eyes LLC, under BMG. Sorry if thats been mentioned.

the quality of this song makes me think that Mark and Travis are trying to take back the pop punk scene from the young guns

That's the LLC they've used for blink's "blink 182" trademark and other things. It's just their legal entity afaik.

    BMG's distributing the record.

I can't recall having the same enthusiasm I do for this, for Neighborhoods. I Enjoyed it enough, thought there were some decent tracks but this already has a different feeling to it. So excited.

True, I know they have used it before, I know people were wondering what label under BMG were the releasing this under. Guess it's just through BMG.
