Watching first episode of MYC, and holy shit, the commentary is bad. Lita isn't great, but she's passable, however JR is not sounding good at all.

They should have a third person

 

Tbh, I don't think JR has sounded that good as a broadcaster in years.

 

I have to watch it on mute by virtue of being at work, so idk either way lol. Makes nearfalls much more exciting if nothing else

I had no idea who that was, so I can understand why it is just a casual mention or whatever it was.

Maybe it's cause I don't live in an area filled with wrestling fans or a wrestling scene, but it makes my day the one time a month when I see someone in a BC shirt or variant and I give them a too sweet.

Ocean City or Wildwood.

 

Honestly it's just an unfamiliarity with Asbury. When I was growing up, my mom would never let me go there because of how bad the area was. I know it's done a complete 180 and is so much better, but I just don't know where to go.

 

Anywhere on the beach is fine. Wonder Bar, pinball museum, Watermark, Stone Pony, Yacht Club are all good places to go for drinks.

There is a main strip that has tons of shops and stuff. Brickwall, Bond Street Bar, Asbury Biergarten, House of Independents, and Johnny Mac's always have stuff going on during the summer.

Its definitely very safe at this point in the main areas. Once you move away from that you can run into trouble, but its so easy to avoid.

I don't know how long you are staying, but there are some fun shows coming up. Bayside and Prophets of Rage are both playing the Stone Pony next week. Of Montreal is playing HoI too.

Yeah, same style as Takeover:Brooklyn. Not sure if theyve been doing NXT tapings that way, but, it cuts down on how much of the crowd you see, which is kind of nice

 

Serena Deeb looks really good. She looks like she's in better shape than she ever was during her run.

I went to the OC boardwalk for the first time ever like 3 years ago for a soccer game and was surprised how great it was even in the off season.

Also Wildwood fucking rules

 

OC is the best because it filters out the typical douchebags you see at the Jersey Shore because it's a dry town.

 

If its dry why would they call it Ocean City?
