emo hasnt been a derogatory term for quite a few years now. the best new bands making music today are all tagged as emo. foxing, pianos, hotelier

To change the subject, is there any BN single/b-side/demo that you think would've fit the bill for Science Fiction?

I personally think Out of Range is a song that could've worked as part of the album

Yeah, in the music word, emo isn't derogatory anymore. Pitchfork covers them, and they were the epitome of emo-hating snobbery in the 2000s

Now if that could extend to society as a whole... my life would be so much better!

Take out No Control and throw in Nobody Moves and you have a perfect album

 

I have such a strong appreciation for 1996. It has the most Morrissey-like melody of Jesse's lyrics.
