This looks interesting. The premise definitely reminded me of Mean Creek a little

 

I will watch any movie that can be compared to Mean Creek

 

Now I just want to stop everything and watch Mean Creek again.

 

I was a kid when I watched that and it made me very sad

 

I start a new job Monday so I'm letting myself have a movie marathon this weekend and I'll probably end up adding it, haha

 

i have a really good recommendation that will be spoiled if i give it

 

Anyone have any recommendations that are probably not related to occults or cult stuff in any way maybe whatsoever?

 

that said, The Wicker Man (the original from 1973) is honestly must-watch horror for me, absolutely classic and terrifying. Starry Eyes, The Invitation.

I'm starting with The Devil's Candy, The Transfiguration and Troll Hunter (late pass) this weekend

 

i'm high as fuck and watching Entrails of a Virgin and let me tell you it is a ride

 

The Transfiguration, yesss. I'm still not sure if that or Raw is my favourite film of the year so far

I only suggest you watch it with subtitles because, at least for me, the first act was really hard to hear and decipher. When you do get around to checking it out, quote me or post your thoughts because it's one I often think about and love talking about

 

Will do, appreciate it. Now that you mention it, it's been recommended to me before but I just never watched it

 

I'm prone to hyperbole, so rather than call it the best I will just say it is my favorite genre film of the 00's
