So, this album got to number 72 here in the UK. Disappointing honestly but not unexpected, my assumption is it's all relative to the fact many of us here bought copies from their US store hence the comfortable number one over there. So in the grand scheme it's a positive.

 

Umm yeah actually, anyone chime in if they think I'm incorrect here but id say the most common least favorites so far are No Control and Out Of Mana?

 

And I love them.

But I can't even pick a favorite or least favorite. Because I'm a Brand New shill.

 

Also don't think they had a presence on Amazon, may have affected it. Still depressing to see shit like Neck Deep at #4 with Brand New that low, but their gigs selling out shows they have a fanbase here and US #1 is still awesome. Oh well.

I also love Out of Mana, may be one of my favourite songs off of it especially with that beautiful outro, can't believe people are considering it as one of the weaker tracks!

On an unrelated note (and I hope this isn't against the rules), can anyone point me in the direction of where to download stuff like Flying At Tree Level, or the rerecorded version of Nobody Moves? Would rather not Youtube rip but not sure where to look. Thanks :)

I know friends who are pals and are into Neck Deep too. But they are really as far away from enjoyable music that is apparently still within the alternative rock sphere somehow as it can get for me.

 

Out Of Mana is awesome.

 

Their sketchy past makes it uncomfortable to see them chart so high for me, otherwise yeah I have friends who like them despite me thinking they're pretty bland. Slowly trying to get everyone I know into Brand New and similar artists but it's a losing battle haha

 

Out Of Mana is so dope. Gives me slight Deftones vibes.
