Yeah, Sanity as Tag and Womens champ makes sense if they are gonna push ReDragon and Cole at the tag and main titles. That way, down the line, Sanity can lose the tag belts and still have something.

Also kind of a badass image for Nikki to walk to the ring with two belts if they want, since shes Freedbird'd into the tag titles

Fuck, D-Bry on E&C talking about returning made me so happy. The summaries are one thing, but hearing it from the horse's(goat's?) mouth confirmed that it is a reality and we will be seeing him soon. The fact that after he gave his retirement speech, one of the doctor's that cleared him reached out immediately and was all "what the hell Daniel, tell me what they told you" made a big difference for me.

Bryan/Miz for the IC title at Mania, or WWE are fools imo. Do a Rumble entry, have Miz eliminate him, have that match, then if you can't come to terms on a limited performer contract, cut him loose. But if you don't at least put him with Miz one more time, the by that point likely winningest IC champ ever versus a dude who retired as IC champ, with how intertwined their WWE careers are... c'mon.

 

I'd rather see Bryan face dozens of other guys before Miz tbh

 

It's gonna be a very interesting next year between Dbry and WWE whether they allow him to wrestle or not. I believe his contract expires in about a year and he is being very vocal about his return. I feel like WWE won't clear him but we have never seen a situation quite like this one.

 

To be honest, i'd rather not see a guy who had to hide severe seizures stemming from dozens of concussions wrestle at all ever again.

 

Im with you on this, as a whole (especially when I know how it ends for NFL players).

That said, his seizures were 5 years ago. He told every doctor about them and they all cleared him to return...except WWE. If WWE's smart, they'll do what @electro haikus said and build to a single match. And build a contract out of that for a Shane/HHH like schedule where he does a match at the big PPVs.

Dude's killing it as a GM character, theres a lot more they can do (including heel turns) if he can wrestle 3-4 times a year. Same w Kurt

 

But as a wrestling fan, Id rather him go to NJPW and be the face of US expansion with Omega, and actually have something that can push WWE a bit.

 

Me too, but Miz is the best story they can tell atm and also probably one of the safest guys for him to work with.

I respect this, but the brain is a weird thing. Dreamer can still do pretty much everything he's ever done while remaining healthy and he is more concussion than man. Bryan said that he would work a much, much safer style and would walk away at the drop of a dime if his doctors were to tell him his health was deteriorating or at risk.

 

If you're at all concerned about the state of Bryan's health/brain, I cannot for the life of me understand why you would be excited to see him go off and wrestle in a place like NJPW where he will be decidedly less protected in the ring, both because of the style over there and because of fewer people in upper management ensuring that he's not allowed to do certain things he likely would want to do.

 

My stance is pretty reasonable, I feel: I am never going to get loud and beg for Bryan to come back, but if he is wrestling somewhere and I'm able to watch, I will be watching. If he never wrestles another day in his life, I'm happy for him then too.

 

Defintely the safest out of the guys I'd like to see him with

No spoilers please but I want Toni Storm to be champ, that way both the progress world champ and the progress women's champ will hold WWE gold
