    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

I've heard they're roughly equivalent to the Audio Technica M50x, which I own.

They sound phenomenal to me, but I never owned anything better than Apple Earbuds before owning a pair of M50x as of January 2016.

Yes, I really enjoy them. The open back is really nice to me, gives them more of a speaker sound stage but don't get them expecting noise isolation! Sound gets in/out pretty easily. I rock them for home purposes and Shure 215's for on the go.

I'll probably buy the 598 but I will wait. Right now they are like $180, and last Black Friday, they were $99. I'll wait until BF this year, but hoping for a sale before.

I have 598s and they're fantastic. so comfortable, such a roomy sound. not a TON of bass, more mid/high phones, but i love them

Wow really?? I got them for $110 off amazon new last year. They must of stopped production on them or something. That's crazy.

If you use a little DAC the sound rounds out and drives a little bit more getting some more bass, but yeah still great without. Also, I can wear them for a long time without ear fatigue which is really nice.

104.5 played The Chainsmokers 30 minutes before Brand New. They used to be cool when they played stuff like Gaslight Anthem, but now they're lame and play too many pop songs.

BTW, the Alternative charts do not play any alternative rock anymore. It's truly a shame that what was once the greatest radio format has fallen so far that they don't play genuine alt-rock in favor of pop garbage.

Agreed, I live in Philly and 104.5 is not what it used to be. They overplay so many songs now, I mean if I had to listen to Shut up and Dance With Me one more time. But then they go and do something like this and totally redeem themselves.

one of my favorite Jesse Lacey live moments is when hes playing acoustic and suddenly people just start interrupting him to tell him what songs to play and he says "ok, maybe saying you could just yell out was a bad idea on my part" lol. hes always seemed so likeable.

i will also always plug this video when i can. Absolutepunk and @Jason Tate get a shoutout and Jesse has some nice things to say

Those solo tours were some of the best shows I've ever seen. I can't imagine what they would be like in 2017, especially prior to last week.

I think A Black Mile to the Surface was my surprise AOTY and then this came out and might usurp that position. However, The Grocery is the best song I've heard all year.

Lol, if I were to see the drummer and bassist in public I would not recognize them, nor do I know their names.

Also, more legendary than the "I hope the next boy that you kiss has something terribly contagious on his shhhhhhhhhh" is the No Seatbelt performance (I think CBGB) where he goes "please shut the...FUCKKKKKK UP!" right in the middle of the second verse to a really loud crowd that is just talking over him playing.

In New York, there's a HD station that I stream that plays bands like Gaslight Anthem, Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, Bright Eyes, Dashboard Confessional, Against Me!, The National, Envy on the Coast, I Am The Avalanche, Manchester Orchestra and The Mars Volta sprinkled in with a lot of this "festival music". It's a nice break whenever I hear one of those rare songs.

10 years ago Alt radio had bands like AFI, JEW, Rise Against be the biggest stars. The modern day equivalent is very poppy crap. I don't know what happened
