At this point I think when people discuss radio we're just talking about Sirius stations

 

My single choices would be

Can't get it out lead single
In the water (I could see this being huge on alternative radio)
451 (can't imagine someone not loving this song)

 

Y'all ever try eggs Benedict? I had it for the first time just a few months ago and it blew my mind!

 

These and Waste along with Out of Mana could all work to some extent, Can't Get it Out is definitely the easiest choice though.

I really can only get myself to eat my eggs scrambled. I know I'm really missing out though

100% truth, I swear on my life, I met a guy named "Beaver" just the other day.

 

There's a place in Utah called Beaver. I took a pic next to a big wooden Beaver statue that's holding a sign saying "I Beaver"

There's a near me restaurant that does fried chicken eggs benedict. Sooo good.

 

I live in a city in mid to south Alabama. it's either country or rap. theres no in between.

 

Definitely could see 451 getting a lot of love on the radio.

NC has like no rock stations aside from southern rock which play the shitty post-Ronnie Van Zant Lynard Skynard songs and then a few other boring southern rock. also lots of Nickelback. there used to be a station that played "alternative" rock but they were shut down because the locals thought they were devil worshipers and yes that sounds just as batshit crazy as it reads.

 

451 and Cant Get It Out would be good singles i think

maybe switch 451 and in the water and make in the water the third single?

Do you think if we would have gotten can't get it out as a stand alone single we would have been worried given what nightmare and mene sounded like?

 

i think jason may have mentioned this but i wouldnt be surprised if Cant Get It Out came from the same sessions that IAAN came from. it just has that alt rock feel to it, it feels like a single but it doesnt feel out of place or tacked on at all. maybe if we had gotten a more traditional rollout and Cant Get It Out was dropped like a couple months ago people may have been a little more at ease. i think CGIO is just a better written song than Mene or IAAN, and i like those songs to be fair, but yeah maybe had that been released it wouldve made me a lot less cynical

 

I get a little bit of an Alice in Chains unplugged vibe from In the Water, and that's the one I could see doing well on rock radio. Agree on the rest and would definitely include Waste as was already mentioned.
