I played Daisy Wednesday night of last week on a nice long walk. Was an enjoyable listen and then the new album dropped the next day. What a nice surprise that was. Brand New I love you.

 

This may sound (and be) crazy, but it's been a week since this has been released and I honest to god haven't listened to anything else to date.

 

Guys I'm jealous of the bromance going on here. I feel left out lol. Find me a job too and I'm there

 

I feel like I missed most of it. Super bummer.

Is one of my favorite parts on the whole album

 

I know what brick walking means but I guess I don't hear it on this record any more than I do on other records. I hear a lot of dynamic shifts actually and feel that the volume goes down when it's supposed to in a very natural way. Could you point out a spot where it clips? Just sort of curious and not trying to argue.. I also guess I feel sort uninformed bc I was sitting here thinking the master on this record was something special.

so No Control isn't a main highlight but the line "chum and throw me overboard" is so damn cool. plus it seems to be from the opposite perspective in Luca.."please drop me a line with a hook and some raw bleeding bait.", for i am uncaught"....fuuuug..i'm baked again but amiright??

 

I guess Brand New isn't a new band but still, point stands.

 

I was being productive at work and then had to save battery power on the bus then had to do some stuff when I got home
