I don't recommend it haha but there is a part where they show how the alien or whatever lives in a head. Very reminiscent of how Yeerks and controllers operated.

Lol. Damn yeah sounds like straight up ripoff then. The books and even the show for Animorphs were a bit much for their target audience at times but hey it worked because we're still talking about them

 

I think how dark and messed up the books were are why they lasted for me. I reread them last year and the overall story holds up. Some of the later ghost written books do not hold up at all, but the core story and messages are fantastic.

I legit live by the advice Marco lived by.

 

I'm late but book fairs were the best. That's how I got all my Calvin and Hobbes books

I'm glad I caught up on the thread in time to witness the Animorphs portion of the thread only to realize I don't actually remember much from the books. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Man, I was obsessed with Animorphs growing up. I don't remember much about the story now, but those books were all I read for a long while.
