I love PKEW PKEW PKEW and I would imagine the secret headliner would be someone I dig. Would love Direct Hit but since they already have done it I doubt

 

Looks like they bumped Fidlar up by 10 minutes to give Danzig more time too... All the bands on that stage on Saturday are starting 10 minutes earlier for the most part.

Beach Slang starts five minutes earlier too (12:40 instead of 12:45).

Minor changes, but I've never understood why festivals don't announce this sort of thing.

 

Also stoked about Paramore playing earlier now

 

Fuck... Thought I could leave Baysides set a little early and catch a good chunk of FIDLAR but not anymore

 

RVIVR is my guess for the secret headliner. They're playing the fest early that day and MPShows booked them earlier this year so they definitely have a relationship there.

 

Think it'll be someone playing the fest? Smith Street Band? Rvivr? BEACH SLANG? LAWRENCE ARMS? Probably getting too ambitious here, ha.

 

Smith Street would be awesome and I feel like could definitely make sense

 

Smith Street is my second guess but I think RVIVR is way more likely. I doubt it's Beach Slang since they're playing so early the next day, although they do like doing secret sets at small bars in Chicago.

 

Will we not find out until we're at the show?

Also any idea when I should probably get my tix by?

Also mad that Pkew x3 is playing that savage brats and beer fest with DP and others the weekends prior

 

New headliner guess is The Flatliners. They're not doing anything, they're buds with PKEW and the poster has a blue jays hat

 

Would be all about that!!

 

Oh that would be perfect cus then I don't have to worry about catching them at Riot Fest and I can catch the end of Cap'n Jazz during the day, and all would be well.

 

I'll have to look when I'm home if the Paramore change affects anything, but the only thing I noticed was that I could watch more of Andrew WK now, which is great.

 

Just dawned on me that we have no idea what the layout is going to be like this year. Hopefully the map (and the smaller number of stages) makes it easier to get around.

 

If it was the Flatliners that might give me incentive to duck out a bit before QOTSA ends and check this out... It would mean I'm doing something extra every single night of the festival, which would be a first for me!

 

Music starts at 10 and there's 5 bands so you could definitely watch all of QOTSA!

But yeah 2/3 nights I'll be doing something extra which is cool. I usually just go out and get drunk until 4am every night and will still do that after these events lol

 

Hah! Right on. I almost never go out after a day of festival-ing unless it's to an aftershow. And even that is pretty rare. Except at Fest. Those weekends were always a disaster (in the best way) when I used to go to that...

 

Last sentence totally means it's the Flatliners, right?
