got tickets to see her in NYC oct. 27th and I cant wait.

 

I had tickets to see her at the Mercury Lounge and at the last minute I wasn't able to go

 

Haven't seen her since she opened for Daughter. Amazing show.

 

That show was on the same day I left for a family vacation in Gatlinburg. I definitely thought about trying to convince my dad, his girlfriend, and my girlfriend to all leave a day later so I could attend lol.

 

The Audiotree version of "Something" is really something.

Just started listening to her as well recently. Looking forward to the record.

 

You know, I hate when the word "literally" is used incorrectly, but it's starting to feel like it is literally every thread.

 

You're not wrong. I get that this site could pretty much be called brandnewblink182fanzone.com but it's been pretty annoying since that album dropped.

My favorite is people "feeling sorry" for bands like fucking Grizzly Bear, The National, TWOD because Brand New dropped an album in the same season.

nice. never listened to that album, but that song is fantastic. will check out.

 

Julien's voice is the most comforting thing. Listening to her sing can actually calm me down when I'm having a bad anxiety day.

a lot of her stuff is different. ruins is very piano based. she also has a few drone albums. just an amazing, beautiful artist.

she did some shows with julianna barwick as well, my friend went down, i'm jealous.

 

I have to imagine that Julien started actually jumping up and down when she learned that Bazan would be opening for her, haha.

What's the chance of her selling out a 950 cap in Toronto? I wanna go catch Half Waif and I like the Julien Baker stuff I've heard but haven't got super into her yet. But I subscribe to a service that gets me into certain shows for free. Curious if I should wait out and hope for that or just grab a ticket asap.
