Yes it was because the trade was for some dumper shit ass LB and it was being denied because everybody was screaming that Kevin was giving up far too much for such a player. It was never about the other guy getting fleeced or anything of that nature.

Kevin MASSIVELY overpaid for a rookie LB. I think everybody agreed on that. The disagreement was whether or not it should have been allowed because of the precedent it would set.

 

Who was the LB Kevin wanted? I wanna look his stats up

ATL was offering Tyler Lockett and if I recall correctly, he's like 94-95 SPD. Obviously Ross is a little faster but ya know, Dez and AJ Green would suck ass for whoever plays him.

The one from a few days ago? I don't recall his name off hand but he was like high 70s/low 80s in both ZCV/MCV and for a 4-3 LB, that is something that is pretty big to have. Which is why I approved it partnered with the fact that Kevin is well aware of what he's doing and his picks are always bottom 4-5 of the round.

You're exactly right. For you it was all about the name, and you made the decision solely based on Kevin's name. The owners making the deal should be irrelevant, but now they are. You have set a dangerous precedent in my little piss on opinion.

If the trade has been sent to the committee and approved, it's locked in---the ONLY exception would be if you feel like you are getting fleeced and you want more of a review from the trade committee as a whole, I'd clearly honor that.
