Sorry if it's been brought up already but this morning pre-orders for SNES Classic went live at Walmart, Target and Gamestop. All are sold out now.

I'm refreshing my amazon page every minute now.

 

There is no big open world RPG (except for Xenoblade) or GTA-like coming out this fall/winter, is there? Fuck.

 

I mean Assasins Creed is p much a huge sandbox. Even though I have no interest in it.

 

Yeah that's true, as is Shadow Of Mordor 2 or whatever, but those are kind of a third open world category to me. I'll play AC, but I really enjoyed Mafia 3 last year and I need my fix.

 

might buy the evil within since it's $5 on X1 and I know I'll never go back and play my 360 version.

 

I was going to say something snarky about PCs and backwards compatibility, but then I realized I haven't been able to run Max Payne on Windows 10.

 

Anyone else pick up Uncharted today? Playing it now.

 

Yep, I've been playing a bunch of Uncharted. Best Buy delivered my copy yesterday, played maybe four hours between yesterday and today. It's...well, it's more Uncharted, which is a good thing. Things start off quickly and it's generally been a nice, fast paced adventure. Mechanics/light spoilers for Chapter 4: The little open area with a few tasks you can tackle in any order is a nice change from the generally purely linear gameplay of the series. I've always really liked Chloe so I was super happy to have her as the protagonist of her own game and her banter with Nadine is very entertaining so far. There are lots of great little moments and bits and pieces of backstory for Chloe to really flesh her out as a character.

 

Super pumped for The Lost Legacy when I get it tomorrow. Hands down my favourite series and if it's just more Uncharted, then sign me the fuck up haha.

 

A budget-priced extra chapter of the Uncharted series, using Uncharted 4's mechanics and starring two of the series' coolest characters is pretty much fine by me. Also it comes with all of Uncharted 4's multiplayer and the co-op mode as well.

Currently on Chapter 4 in Uncharted and it's some of the most fun I've ever had with this series.

 

Oh shit, Lost Legacy is out? Gonna hop on the store and start DLing

 

Love that, even in a budget-priced spinoff, Naughty Dog is still doing new and unique things with the series. Really pleasantly surprised by that chapter.

It may be my biggest gaming disappointment of the last 10 years. It's not even the worst game I've played this year, just the most thoroughly underwhelming. Get it as cheap as you can, and know 95% of the enjoyment you'll get out of it is from the art style.

 

Has anyone played the Return to Arkham remasters for Xbone/PS4? I remember it having a really rough launch and am curious if it's worth picking up for $20 or if I should just dip back into my 360 copies.

 

I am playing them both and they are good.

 

Looks very similar to some of the ONE controllers but seems a little too over complicated and it's weird that you have to use a special cable that only comes with it.

 

Is it me or do those buttons look just a little too big? lol
