dwight "unlikely" back in houston, top targets are blazers, bucks, magic.

  2. Looks like Batum will be coming off the bench tonight.

Better be paying plumlee a good amount and finding a third scorer somewhere. Signing Dwight would be dumb, my bet is the bucks if they can find a place to dump Monroe.

i dont mind howard, i just think he was in a shitty situation with houston, but the money he is gonna command is going to be too much, especially now that he is 30, won't be worth it.

I think you can play Myles turner next to him and take advantage of turners shooting at the 4. He'll be better than Hibbert. They might go after someone regardless, George is a FA after next season... Gotta convince him you're all in.

I hope the Pacers can get Harrison Barnes and start playing Turner at the five

Or more realistically just getting rid of Ellis

i really hope the younger teams (bucks, magic) don't make a run at dwight, even makes less sense for magic since they have vucevic and hes considerably younger.

The Bucks need a rim protector, even if it's not Dwight.

I'd love Dwight to LA though...

I'm assuming you mean Thomas' dirty Game 2...

Or Jae Crowder adjusting his knee and dropping all weight on Schroder's naughty bits...

I understand that Schroder is a hot head and easily the most unlikeable player on the Hawks, but the Celtics know exactly what they are doing by trying to provoke him. If you poke the (German) bear, he will respond. It's hilarious to me that the focus has been on Schroder from Boston fans, though.

Teague has too good a smile to hate him

That's just sports really. Fans often overlook the dirty things their own players do, but notice every little dirty thing an opposing player does. Same with complaining about the refs. Fans are okay with blown calls that go their way, but complain about every blown call that doesn't go their way. Sports truly make people ignorant. Not that I'm calling anybody here ignorant.

I will say, we have no way of knowing what Schroder says to these guys, but that's usually where these situations that involve him start.

i didn't think this when we signed him, but i do think he is bad for chemistry ON the court, no matter what team he goes to, their fans will get fed up with his on-court temperament, stupid fouls, horrible free throw shooting, etc.

Off the court he's a good dude, good with fans/charity... he can be passive aggressive in his comments with the team media.

All i know is I dont want him on my favorite team anymore, id much rather go after a guy like Horford in today's NBA.

Yeah obviously Dwight brings something to the table but ultimately I don't think you can win a championship with him

  23. Hornets will make Dwight an offer.

This game 5 is what I expected. Lots of back and forth, sloppy by both teams. Hornets have to keep playing excellent defense.

Dwight/Vucevic would've been an incredible pairing fifteen years ago when Vuc wouldn't be asked to cover stretch fours so frequently. Not sure it makes a ton of sense now, but Cleveland showed in the Finals last year that big lineups aren't dead yet. Charlotte is a very, very interesting landing place, though.

And on an unrelated note, the uniforms the Heat are wearing tonight are in the very, very bottom tier in the entire league.
