It took me from Lit Me Up to Out Of Mana to catch up on this thread, hot damn. I can't even imagine how many posts it'll have by the end of the year.

For an album-related thought, Could Never Be Heaven has wrecked me the last two times I've listened to the album. Gorgeous track.

These are good opinions for the most part so I don't think I will

 

Or he's just sticking to the party line as either an inside joke or as part of a multi-year marketing campaign around 2018 being the end

 

Don't really want to rank because it's still too early for me and my least favorite song on this album is still probably an 8/10.


Also, it has been one week since we all learned about the existence of LP5 and collectively lost our shit. Wild stuff.

 

I didn't lose my shit til the record hit the interwebs. The whole pre-order gag seemed promising to me but I remained skeptical.

 

I was a little skeptical at first, but it seemed so incredibly unlikely to me that they would take people's money (and a lot of it) for what they were blatantly referring to as LP5 and then not deliver. I'm obviously glad I ended up being right about that.

 

Yah I figured that meant it would happen eventually but not necessarily by October

As long as you have 137 in top 3 it's cool

 

Right now, the tracks that I'm reaching for the most for standalone listens are Can't Get It Out, Waste, and In the Water. It's hard not to just listen to the whole album though.

 

I was claiming there would be no lp5 like the day before
