Haha I would put money on the fact that they don't like that album much, if at all

 

Jesse's right about Pearl Jam vs. Nirvana. I'm glad he's a Pearl Jam. Nirvana were the worst of the Big 4 Grunge bands and Nevermind is horrifically overrated, it's not even their best album and even a back-end Pearl Jam record is better than it.

Yeah she is a pretty big music fan, but doesn't get super into collecting records and stuff. She is the practical one, in her mind we pay for Apple Music so whats the point, but she knows I love getting records so she supports it. She was being very supportive during my freak out on the airplane as I was refreshing multiple pages to snag the pre order and having it fail due to the terrible wifi and sight crashing.

 

that's not an actual album though, I went to the charts section and sorted by 2017 and SciFi came up as #1. Carrie and Lowell doesn't even show up on it anywhere.

Pretty much! This is when I'm especially grateful for streaming. $10 a month for access to all the music I want, rather than buying CD's or digital purchases, frees up some money for vinyl. I try to limit myself to only my favorite albums or favorite bands though.

 

Brand New cares very much about what their anemone fans think of YFW. don't be insensitive

 

This is what I do. I only buy the vinyl if I love the release or the band... but I love too many bands and artists haha
