Someone already posted the article in which people are wanting Antifia to be labeled as a terrorist organization and it currently has 263,000 signatures. RIP antifa? If the signatures represent the countries views on Antifa then the positive messages they send will be met with the negative connotation of the group. One step forward, two steps back.

 

I assume it's mostly breitbart and the_donald readers who are signing that petition. But I have no idea what the WH will do in response

Most petitions, you can sign up over and over with different made up emails. Not all of them have confirmations and if they do I'm not sure their confirmations will be when they count officially, it could go through right away.

 

They'll label Antifa a terrorist group. I mean, what better way to turn the general public against them. Plus I'm willing to bet most people don't realize "Antifa" is short for "anti-fascists." It's a weird-sounding word that most people don't know the meaning of, shouldn't be too hard to convince people that they're up to no good.
