Totally agree. I wasnt going to say anything but ya i mean this is the "album thread" for BN's new album not Dude Ranch or YFW. I think a lot of us if not all us are still absorbing and digesting this album and want to be able to talk about it. This is the designated place to be able to do that on this site. And thats why there's a band thread for all other things BN related. Still feels surreal that we finally have actual content to discuss and analyse. Anyways back to the album now.

137 is the perfect brand new song, it might be my favorite song by them

 

So Brand New harmonies... what is the science behind that to where when i hear it, i think, "those harmonies are so undeniably Brand New". The chorus to In the Water is a good example of what im talking about.

 

I'm thinking this too... like if I was forced to pick an all out favorite I think it would be this one

 

The fact that it's surrounded by out of mana and same logic. It just freakin blows my mind, just stretches and stretches of incredible music.

 

Look, I'm not the one who has been bringing YFW up normally but if someone brings it up I'm going to respond.

I'm 100% okay with keeping this thread strictly to this new album, no YFW weapon talk and no Canada talk/real life talk.

It's just a double standard if people get Nad for going "off topic" talking about Brand New but not get mad when actually going off topic.

Anyway, I'm sad I'll never get to see The Archers Bow Has Broken live. I wish the band would play it more, such a good song!

I mean in my past experiences virtually every way else when you have an album thread you end up talking about the artist as a whole and past projects.

We allow Canada talk because @KennedyBN and @DejaMoi are the best, and within the Canada talk there IS album talk. Talking about yfw is just redundant in here like it's already been discussed

 

But isn't there a better place for that?

Since I can't even talk about a BN album in a BN thread why should Canada talk be allowed?
