The "I liked Brand New before you knew how to wipe your own ass" shirt is up in the pantheon with the "BRAND NEW WANTS YOU DEAD" and mics shirts.

I agree with what you said. And each thread is different for how it flows and what the atmosphere is like and the quirkiness of each poster. If someone stays lurking they get a better feel for how most people respond and interact and see it just as their personality and not an attack or a fight.

 

I can't wait for the new War on Drugs album A deeper Understanding. I'm thinking that one will fit nicely in the rotation with SF. This album is also making me want to listen to more Pink Floyd. And someone on my fb mentionned they started with SF and then played Nick Drake's Album Pink Moon that has me intrigued.

I had this dream earlier this morning and I wrote it down. The dream is that I'm in some sort of a... and I'm in a hotel I'm at... I'm like at a convention or something. And I feel sort of almost like there's too much going on. There are all different kinds of meetings going on. Stuff on experimental psych and therapy, chemical aspects. All of it

But, I'm... while I don't mind having all this going on inside of me. It's sort of... I think I'm going to be relived when it's over. When I can sort of settle back down



bolded section is one of my favorite moments on the album. especially in light of things the band has said over the years / how they conduct themselves with media and what not. absolutely chilling.

yes the problem is youre taking me waaaaay too seriously lol. theres an ignore button ya know. i have literally no issues with you, aside from the namecalling but w/e we all get caught up in the moment, but visit ANY OTHER THREAD and youll see this is what a lot of us do. we joke, we cut up, we've been around each other for a while. a lot of us are on a first name basis. hell look up Counterparts to see just how far some of us will go with inside jokes and just being dorks. its really just joking, its not serious, its a music forum (a great forum mind you, but still a forum).

 

In terms of the actual # of shirts in circulation, "wipe your own ass" is easily the rarest I believe. Can't believe I didn't buy a "mics are for..." during 2003 tour.

I think the ass shirt was a street team exclusive? I definitely had the mics shirt but lost it somewhere over the years. I also had a sick one where the band name was stretched into the shape of New York. Must have been around 2003 as well.
