I do. That's the worst part of said lyric but the lyric is still better than a lot of artists lyrics.

 

Ok, and they clearly haven't considered that those things are shitty, but if the bulk of responses are calling them out and putting them on the defense rather than trying to present a different perspective, it's not all that likely they're going to change their mind. I don't think it's a stretch to say people here think more about where the bar for shitty or not is (which is a good thing!!) - but maybe some more patience for newbs would be helpful in bringing more people into the fold of not being shitty, for lack of a more eloquent way to put it.
