'Been forced to listen through music through digital streaming services?' Haha. What sounds awful about it to you? A majority of the people choose to listen to music that way. It's by far the most convenient.

Agreed. I actually think the lyrics of Waste sound better for a closer 'this is the last one' as much as i hate to admit it's their last record!

Hmmm interesting. That one is much harder for me to choose.

I think Soco or Play crack the sky are my favourite closers, maybe more for nostalgic reasons but they're a couple of my favourites to hear live too

It's not least my favorite, but I can't seem to get into like everyone else.

Lit Me Up is my least favorite opener.

I'm loving every song on this except that one.

  8. Between the creepy, unsettling samples on this and on Radiohead's OKNOTOK cassette tape (I listened to that for the first time a few days ago), I may begin to have nightmares. Oh well. This album is very special. I know iTunes charts don't really matter, but it's awesome to see Science Fiction at #5 on the Australian all albums iTunes chart! #2 on the Alternative chart, as well. Really hope they come here, it's been 7 years and I didn't know them back then!! I apologise for all the rambling ha

It's that they put more time and money into thier records than most bands. I don't think its effort. I thought the taking back sunday record from last year sounded great tho.

The brand new v thrice debate lasted years on ap and wasn't fun for anyone.

Both bands are top 3 bands for me. Both bands are great friends. We should just love both bands and not try to figure out whose better when they are both millimeters apart.

Being dependent on having internet and the service's limited library. It just does not suit how I listen to music at all. Glad it works for people, it would not for me.

I literally never stream music as I find it limiting in certain aspects. Probably depends how you listen to music. It would not be compatible for how I jam.

For Apple Music it's literally no different than buying an album on iTunes. You add the album to your library and then you make it available offline and you don't even think about what albums are there from the streaming service or which ones you personally own... I buy vinyl or digital downloads of the albums I love and i stream the ones I like. Sometimes I won't even use the digital download I'll just download it on Apple Music and listen to the album that way so the band makes more money from me

I've said this for years but it rings even more true now:

I hope this band never plays another Yfw song ever again

They are my least favorites but I get chills listening to soco live when Jesse takes it up the octave in the second verse

The thing that impresses me most about his album is that Jesse emotes so well in his lower register, which he is singing in on most of the record. The second verse of in the water with the octave harmony is absolute bliss and makes me wish we just got a little bit more of belting Jesse on the album but I understand why they chose this direction and it's incredible.

Could Never Be Heaven is one of my favourites on the record. His 'Smiths' influence shows through so much but the track is so strong.

I've always thought Jesse has sounded like Michael Stipe on many songs, especially Play Crack The Sky.

This album is giving me major Weezer, Alice In Chains, STP, Modest Mouse vibes.

Has anyone yet said that 451 sounds like Marilyn Manson's The Beautiful People?
