I get that Chris can be a bit much but he's so nice and enthusiastic which is refreshing

 

I don't dislike him as much as I dislike Jimmy Fallon, but I can only take him in small doses and pretty much just on his podcast.

 

He is just so damn insufferable at times. Like I think he's a nice dude but listening to the Nerdist at times is a chore because of his antics. That and I think The Talking Dead is completely pointless as a concept. I don't care what C list celebs thought about tonight's episode of The Walking Dead, like how many times are you going feign shock at the repeated storylines of the show?

 

Now I didn't mind him much on @midnight as a host and to be honest, it was the Nerdist episode with The National that got me into the band when I found out that the song from Portal 2 was from them. It was played at the end of the episode and they've become one of my favorites bands ever after that so I owe him that.

 

Right. And, I get that it's his job, but from the little bits I've seen they act like every episode is the best episode ever.

 

The worst is when they do it on a filler episode, like come on, y'all.

 

I think for me I just feel like everyone's bitter and cynical and if you're not you're annoying and I don't want that, like life's tough if you can be happy congrats

I also do dig that he got sober and went on to do great things after he turned his life around, that's pretty cool and I like to see stuff like that regardless if he can be a twit at times.

 

I will never watch but I love that trivia plinko is a show

 

haha it's not that bad. and I think his warmth and friendliness really comes across in his hosting abilities there.

 

I appreciate his work ethic. The dude is non stop. I don't really like him though, and it's not cause he's happy. I loved Craig Ferguson, I love Graham Norton. They seem like happy chaps, but they also scream authenticity and that's what I love about them most.

Really hope the Netflix movie is good.

 

I'm cautiously optimistic. That clip they released seemed kind of awkward, but there was also no context surrounding it so, we shall see. Do you know if it's supposed to just be one stand alone film? Cause that's a lot of content to pack in there.

 

Yeah, that's kinda trash. Should of been a series but better than nothing I guess.
