It is indeed DRM-free, but I'll never accept paying full price for lossy-compressed digital files, especially when an easy legal lossless alternative is available in this case.

My favorite part of this record is that I've ALWAYS wanted a more mellow, ambient record from BN. Always loved their slower stuff, and the parts that DO pick up in this album do so fantastically.

Bandcamp does have apple lossless though, not sure if iTunes is offering that

  9. Cool. You do you. I don't get people using up disc space on lossless stuff they play on crappy speakers and headphones and can't hear the difference anyway. Heh. But that's just me.

Yeah, Bandcamp is a fantastic platform that would be dominant in an ideal world with informed digital buyers. Anyone on the fence should definitely grab the FLAC (or ALAC if you're an Apple person) download there in lieu of any other digital store.

The last minute or so of 137 is just damn near perfect. Okay so maybe the whole song is, but still.

The first time I realized I could tell the difference was with Copeland's Ixora. I listened to that thing like 100 times on 320 mp3s and then I got the cd and I was like wow I actually hear all of this stuff a lot clearer than before hah, but yea you won't hear a difference without good headphones or speakers

Shout out to Garrett for that bass line in Lit Me Up. Completely sets the mood for the song and ultimately the entire record. Though the parts are entirely different, it does the same job that his groove in Sic Transit Gloria does

admittedly I don't follow the rap scene closely. But I have heard of Kodak Black, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Peep at least, this guy I never heard of until today

I'm huge into rap and even post on a the biggest music forum in the word (Kanyetothe.com) which happens to be a rap forum, never heard of this guy.

I know all the other rappers currently on the charts though.

I still can't believe how great this album is. Surely one of THE most anticipated albums of all time and they deliver in such a big way. Nothing but huge love and respect for this band.

Idk dude, pay more attention to different sources? He's like the #1 dude on the come up from Harlem right now, signed to Mass Appeal, prob the most anticipated NY rap debut of the year.
