Give me some opinions here....

Start the league tonight (rather, create it and allow people to get in and start messing with their rosters)

-or-

wait for the first roster update next week sometime and then start it?

The games not even officially out yet

 

Naaa that's my QB of the future. I'm just going to stand pat until I get a deeper feel for the game

 

I say wait - no reason to rush to start it up in my opinion

 

I should clarify....the league won't START.

The league will be created and allow people to join and start executing trades and maybe work through the FA draft and play a few preseason weeks. The league WILL NOT start the regular season until next weekend after the game is officially released.

 

I say wait. I only have about 3 hours left until tuesday and im trying to grind out MUT with the time i have left

 

I think we should wait. Players are still getting cut and signed. Ravens just picked up Zuttah, who will more than likely be on our starting line. Apparently, Bills are looking to ship Tyrod for future picks (just rumors) in the coming week. Point being, I think quite a bit of action can happen in the week leading up to the 3rd preseason game.

 

Ok sounds like we will wait. I will caution everyone that if we don't start the league until the game is released, we may sit in preseason for 4-5 days before kicking the league into gear just to allow time for everybody to join and to get through the FA draft and what not. That may take a little bit which is why I was thinking about starting it tonight.

Yeah the only issue with me is I think salaries and player ratings are bugged in CFM right now

 

I'm not sure what adjustment you're going to see to salaries/player ratings between now and that first roster update. I think the only thing you're going to see changed are potential player moves.

 

Is there a way to tag a user on this forum? Rams guy specifically

 

Yea plus we may be able to add more people by the release.

I'm just saying when you load up CFM the ratings are nowhere near the same as if you were in play now mode
