something weird about Lit Me Up is even though ive listened to this album a bunch already, im still almost expecting something similar to a "Vices" entrance after that spoken word intro ends, but then it slowly moves into those crooning eerie ambient sounds, and i love it. i dont really know how to explain this, but Vices has conditioned me to expect "okay if brand new puts something weird at the beginning of an album, thats when they come in LOUD", so Lit Me Up is almost as shocking as vices because its totally the opposite of what i expected yet i love it dearly.

It took me a while to come around to Caesium 137 but it definitely makes sense given the lyrics regarding Nagasaki.

 

Anyone been to kings theatre in Brooklyn? How bad is it when you're at the back? Can you actually see the band? Haha
