    If you're asking me;

The Devil & God > Science Fiction (yup) > Deja > YFW >>>>> Daisy

Just when I get to a song where I think it's just ok or not my favorite, it hits with an amazing hook or chorus or bridge or guitar riff/solo. Goddamn you brand new. Worth it all.

Can't wait to unpack this album.

If that's the only way we can guarentee another album, I'm for it.

See for me I would have preferred YFW / DE but I understand where you are coming from if you have seen all those songs a million of times already. A DE / DAG show would be amazing too. I would actually love to hear Science Fiction in full as well. Would be cool if they did a 2 albums in full tour again. Would basically have to pair Science Fiction with Your Favorite Weapon every time though because of how long the album is haha.

Daisy is fantastic. It was definitely the one that took the longest for me to like though.

To be fair, this band is legendary and also been around way longer.

I don't dislike Daisy (I like all their albums), I just think weaker than the others by far

This is probably the end, but I don't see it billed anywhere as the final album though lol.

I always viewed Daisy as their worst record... a terrible follow up to the remarkable Devil & God.

It's also half killer/half filler for me which is why I rarely return to it.

I figured it out haha. I'm kinda bummed I didn't think of it actually.

Okay, here goes: this album plays circles around even Counterparts.

This. I don't think it's bad but it was just a weak follow up to the masterpieces before it.

  20. Hot take: "Soco Amaretto Lime" is their best closer, especially after listening to this album and realizing its finality

Do you like this record? I can't keep up with people's opinion

That's a valid opinion I would say. Both are amazing closers.

  23. i'm late to this thread, so instead of trying to write a long post now i'll just direct people to the twitter thread i wrote while listening for the first time:

the album is incredible and i doubt there's anything else i can add that hasn't already been said here.

I know a lot of people who think that so I wouldn't call it a hot take. I know people in real life who have that song as their favorite Brand New song.

waste is my favorite. 451 is the biggest departure to me- but so awesome.

some words that come to mind when listening (in no particular order):
twin peaks (the show), alice in chains, grunge, depeche mode, halloween & night
