That's definitely true, our chemistry is pretty strong as a defensive unit and was able to stay strong in the transition from Phillips to Crennel. I think Jacksonville MAY be able to do it with the pieces they added, and also think they have a schedule that plays pretty well for them (we play the AFC North and NFC West this season)

 

To a degree (I assume this was directed at me) but Blount has yet to do literally a single positive in a game. He looks fat. He looks slower than he ever has. He just doesn't look good.

 

Yea but the thing is I thought jags defense would be really good since Gus and it hasn't been, probably just because defenses cant always play from behind

 

He's probably gonna get cut and end up on the packers and be decent

 

Oh he won't get the cut...the Eagles don't have anyone to replace him with.

 

I think Gus wasn't as defensively good as he appeared, in a similar way of Bowles (who is admittedly not the worst). But yeah I get what you're saying, there's only so much a defense can do when an offense exhausts them, like Houston in 2013 when Watt had an amazing year but our offense was so bad our defense still allowed us to be decimated.

 

Well, I mean if he just looks so bad you can't play him anymore like you're describing

 

Yoh can't forget special teams

 

Our special teams were probably better in 2013 than they are now outside of Fat Randy

That Blount fumble was painful to watch, but at least the Darby interception was nice. After Blount was pretty quiet last week, I'm beginning to grow a little concerned. I know it's just the preseason so I'm not gonna hit the panic button just yet, but, in the back of my mind, I'm not thrilled by what I've seen from him so far.

So, again. I propose this question. If the glazers didn't force licht to draft aguoyo. Would a team trade their staple pro bowl kicker for a 3rd round pick? And if so, which?

also...if the best player on your team is the kicker, that's probably not good.

Isn't Dawson the niners kicker? Idk if he's good anymore though, not like he once was anyway
