I don't get a lot of sweetness, but then after years of drinking it it's kind of become the default taste for beer in my mind.

Kinda feel the same way about Anheuser Busch products, there's just something about that bland taste that I deep down love.

 

Thankfully there's another way for us down here! Can't hate Shiner for that

 

STL has a bunch of solid, great independent breweries but a lot of their stuff doesn't get distributed as widely as AB is here. Schlafly is my personal favorite, a little pricey but the quality of the beer makes up for it.
