I can't believe that tonight I get to hear a new Brand New album. Holy shit.

This is the first time I've been able to be a part of one of their release cycles.

 

Oh my god. I'm almost crying. This part really made me feel like this is goodbye.

 

I sort of hope we don't get song names and it becomes like the demos.

Way too many pages to go through. But from what I understand there's a CD out there with new songs, may or may not be the new album?

There's a song on here that's straight-up a traditional folk song, and I love it.

 

The second track is reminding me of some Deja vibes mixed with their later sound.

 

This band actually managed, for the 5th time, to release an album that sounds like nothing but itself. Not only that, it feels like they knew what we wanted and did not release until they knew it was good enough. I can't stop grinning.

It's a very surreal, bittersweet day today for Brand New fans.

 

Haha people weren't kidding about the Nirvana worship at 44 minutes

 

The guitar work on this is top notch.

 

This is something else.

The production on this is incredible

there are so many weird bits in this album that will probably take years to figure them out, just like TDAGARIM and Daisy. i LOVE it
