Clippers are better without Griffin but losing Paul hurts

 

The look Paul had since the playoffs has just not looked good for their outlook in general.

 

Speaking of extremely good takes, if Skip Bayless is serious about not reupping with ESPN it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up at FOX Sports. Seems to be a good fit for the garbage vibe they've been cultivating over the past few years.

Edit: Actually, somehow, this might be unfair to Skip.

You guys are way behind, he's gone to fs1. They've already picked candidates to replace him. He's working until the finals end.

 

tbh, I don't watch/keep up with espn, fox or anything other major media publications anymore, and my life as a sports fan is better that way.

 

Yup, same here. I quit following any of the talking head/media stuff and just keep up with certain sportswriters now who actually get paid to put a little bit of thought into what they're saying.

 

ESPN is only descending. Good times

Bahahahahaha its funny seeing everyone facepalm in agreement. They make Cowherd look like a saint. What Whitlock said about skip bayless on twitter today is going to be hilarious when he's working next to him in the tall hahaha

Hadn't been on Twitter today until now, just saw the news about the Bayless / FS thing having legs. The guy is annoying as all hell, but he isn't in the same stratosphere as Cowherd/Whitlock/Travis/Schilling/etc.

Tuned them all out on TV years ago, but I'm still subjected to their #takes on a semi-regular basis because so many of the people I follow on Twitter make fun of them.

 

I think I pretty much agree with this. He might have the most annoying on-air persona, but he's little more than a professional troll. Whitlock, Travis, and Schilling seem like genuinely awful people. Cowherd is a little mix of both, but I think mostly a troll like Bayless. Though he does seem to have a weird vague racist bias against some athletes, so maybe he just hides it better.

 

Officiating in this game is god-awful.
