Wasn't their best performance for sure. But my point still stands ;-)
And I am by no means a Hoffenheim fan, quite the opposite actually.

Seconding what people have said. Watch a year of the EPL (I might be biased but I consider it the closest, most even and exciting league) and work out who you like. Not who wins, but who you find yourself drawn to.

I look forward to you hating Arsenal by the end of the season because our fans are embarrassing lately, but I promise we aren't all bad.

I got Chelsea. Fuck this quiz.

B-) I thought of it last year and was pretty proud. It's less fun in my uni league where only three of them like Brand New.

Ipswich concede in the 1st minute and score in the 88th to win 4-3. What is this season?

    Also, 2D > 3D matches.

I second everything the others have said. I just wanted to add that if you have the chance, go visit a game at your local club, no matter what tier they play in. It is a completely different experience to follow your local team and if it is a lower league team it gives you another perspective about football besides all the glamour and glorious stuff of the professional teams. It will definitely broaden your view of the game and the culture around it.

the aerial view in 2d means that i can see my team conceding goals due to their shape before it happens. beautiful gameplay experience of being angry as the centre half launches the long ball, during the striker slotting it away and after, as all those little numbered dots celebrate

  9. I wish I could sit in the negotiations between Levy and Ajax. I can only imagine how big of a weasel he's being.

Anyone ever play FM when it was called Championship Manager? It was fucking classic - there wasn't even a pitch view, it was just the coloured bar that described what was happening, and you'd just be sat there waiting for it to start flashing in your teams colours lol. (1997/98 Real Madrid was my shit - Roberto Carlos, Seedorf, Mijatovic, Davor Suker, Morientes, Raul - too good!)

Wait, I always thought Champ Man and Football Manager were two different games that just happened to sort of exist on their own? TIL i guess!

Tu Madeira in Champ Manager 01/02! The story behind that player is great.

Ultimate Soccer Manager 98 was the best you could do bungs and bribe teams in it. Shearer was the most expensive player in the game too at £13m.

Juventus got Matuidi for less than 19m. How the hell did that happen in this market?!

  20. A lot of reports saying Spurs reached a deal with PSG for Aurier. I know he's talented but after hearing about how big of a douche he is I really hope this isn't true.

And holy shit this Sanchez deal is ridiculous. Just wrap it up.

Napoli-Nice seems like it's going to be lively start to finish. Pretty excited to lose El Clasico in a few hours 2-1 on a Ramos header.

Dries Mertens wouldn't be a bad panic-buy Neymar replacement.

  23. Insigne is one of my favorites

I honestly forget just how many just under world class talents that Napoli have. Fun squad.

Nice are missing Sneijder and Balotelli, but they look very bad thus far.

Beer Sheva's first goal was an absolute screamer.
