My bets are "I Am a Nightmare" and "Sealed to Me" make the cut (in fact I thought they said "I Am a Nightmare was from their forthcoming LP, but things change) and I'm okay with that. Would love to get more than 10 or 11 tracks if that's the case.

 

I've had a shitty day and that would honestly just fit with it and be a "great" end to it.

 

Random unrelated question: is an F-Tank what I think it is?

You're totally allowed to say negative things about the band and no one has said anything even close to the opposite which is why I thought your post was weirdly reactive, but I deleted my post before you quoted it because I'm here to keep an eye on shit, not to get into it

 

I hope the high price of the vinyl means it's long enough to be a double LP

Now all I need is for The Republic of Wolves to announce and put out their new album this year and then 2017 will be the year of dreams as far as music goes for me. I mean we got stuff like Manchester Orchestra, Turnover, Circa Survive, Prawn, Citizen, and now Brand New, shit is crazy.

 

I'd be down for that. I mentioned in the band thread about how they bring back a lot of the excitement from my early music years of when albums were coming out without the internet and you knew nothing about it prior. You just bought it and hoped you loved it.

I doubt either will be on it. Didn't they imply that they scraped whatever was going to be on that LP or was that just speculation?

 

yeah i understood it as IAAN was planned to be on the record they planned to put out last year, but scrapped. Could be wrong though

 

Hmmm, I don't remember hearing that but it totally could've been implied when they said they needed more time to finish it. Who knows! I'd love a studio recording of "Sealed to Me," but we already have "I Am a Nightmare" so I'm fine with it either way haha

 

i really do love TDAG even if some lyrics havent aged super well. Deja has some nostalgic value to it. Daisy is pretty solid and the demos are almost as good as TDAG. idk why teebs and mook decided to jump down your throat over some pretty harmless comments but w/e

Not much to it haha, they don't have an especially great track record with me (one great album, one fine album, two bad albums) and I really didn't like Mene or IAAN
