League of Nations seemed broken up as of last night.

Christ domo what the hell could WWE possibly do to recognize Chyna without you ranting like a lunatic about how it's their fault she died or whatever?
It's a shitty situation and they're handling it fine.

i thought the tribute music was too upbeat. if an old fogey bites the dust that's one thing, but this was more of a tragedy and i dont think that got across.

Yeah, awful thing but he's going way over the top about it. Even saying it's their fault is a stretch.

It's not their fault that she died, but they're shitty human beings who treated another human being like shit, and it caused her tremendous grief.....grief that lead to her death. Them showing the tweets from Triple H and Steph, I mean, give me a fucking break.

If it was sad music there would be people complaining that they should've used something upbeat.
It's a no-win situation for them, totally and completely.

And if Triple H and Steph didn't tweet then they'd get shit for not even caring enough to comment.
You can't have it both ways.

I don't want it any way. You kinda nailed it on the head. There really isn't anything they COULD do to make me give them kudos (apart from straight up apologizing)...they get no kudos for this. They don't deserve kudos, I'm sorry.

Who says they want kudos? Who thinks they care if domotime2 at chorus.fm gives them kudos?
Their hands are tied. No matter what they chose to do (or not do) they would be getting crap from someone.

Well you seem to care that I'm not giving them credit for their half-ass tribute video

I agree 100% that it's just a shit situation. Could and should WWE have handled things better when they had the chance to? Of course. Do they deserve any special credit for doing what should be done now? Not really. I'm honestly just glad that they decided to be decent about this and actually pay respects to a great trailblazer who changed the company forever.

I don't think they deserve credit any more or less than they deserve blame.

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't Chyna said some pretty nasty shit about HHH in the past?

    Tragic shit regardless

She very recently, like within the last year, accused him of hitting her. She said a lot of things and we'll never know the truth.

Thought she accused him of pedophilia too. Understandable why someone would be hesitant to give a proper apology when bridges have been so severely burnt.

Was pleasantly surprised we got a video package.

Absolutely. She's definitely said some inflammatory things about Triple H, Sean Waltman, and the company. But, there were a ton of extenuating circumstances that lead her down this path of depression and sadness. No one's excusing her for these things, plus she was definitely a full blown drug addict which didn't help, but that path the WWE sent her on post WWE..... "smh" (I'll leave it at that)

don't think i've ever heard people complain about striking a sad tone to mark a tragedy. and there's also a way to hit that note while still remaining positive, the dusty tribute did that. they just didn't put much effort into this, the music was generic and upbeat and didn't do much in conveying any emotion. i wouldve said it was barely fitting to mark her hall of fame induction, never mind marking her death.

viewing both parties situations i think what they did last night was honestly the best way to handle it.

It's really not worth arguing something so nitpicky but "celebrating life rather than mourning death" is a pretty commonly used approach.

i just dont think youre celebrating life with elevator music #4. if the wwe has ever been good at anything, it's been their tributes. i cant think of another video package they've put together that wasn't really well done and that i didnt like. last night's felt half assed purely in comparison to all the other work theyve done.

Stone Cold having McMahon, Patterson and Brisco arrested in 98 and talking shit to them while they are cuffed is by far one of my favorite wrestling moments ever. So outrageous I wish they could come up with things like this now without it being awful.
