Just started watching like an hour ago. Just finished Neville/Tozawa, and holy fuck I flipped at the finish. Crowd being so hot for that was really awesome. Nia/Banks was far away away Nia's best match I've seen. Everything about the Rollins/Ambrose segment from the second they stopped talking forward was great, the pop when they did the fist bump was just the best.

I'm watching Raw right now and I'm very confused as to why Alexa Bliss is sitting on a lifeguard chair. Is that her new gimmick? Why isn't she dressed as a lifeguard? Where is David Hasslehoff? Was this supposed to be cross-promotion with The Rock's version of Baywatch? Did they scrap it because the Rock's Baywatch was so bad? I NEED ANSWERS

So genuine question, Sunday night in the main event, Samoa Joe or Braun Strowman is beating down Roman towards the end of the match en route to a victory (with the other one and Brock incapacitated outside of the ring), and all of a sudden you hear "Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo....", what is the crowds reaction?

They'd probably pop incredibly hard. Same way they did at Survivor Series for the table spot:

But Im with Henry, they havent given any indication its coming, Seth/Dean arent even truly on the same page, itd be a sign of desperation to get Roman cheered if anything. It'd make a lot more sense to save it for Survivor Series or some other moment. Cause it'd also be kind of heelish for the Shield to interfere in a title match on Romans behalf

Meltz daddy said that Flair had colon surgery and is now on dialysis. He isn't in the clear, and is still in bad shape.

This is probably as of midnight pacific time.

    No Fun. Not Ever.

Same. I started watching again after they split. I still genuinely don't get the hype for them.

I guess I view it as Vince's desperate way of getting Roman over, a la having the Rock come out post RR 2015. I actually don't think Roman is winning on Sunday so maybe it'd be more likely at WM.

the crowd would go bananas for a full blown shield reunion at summerslam. honestly very few would dislike it. also jason jordan has the most poorly produced theme music in wwe history

When they were together for the first year or two, they were probably the best thing WWE booked since i started watching again in 2011.

The Shield being the biggest deal was a product of the time they came around. I look back on it as what allowed a shift towards to newer guys taking the ball and running with it. They were the stable that even Cena never went over. It was just exciting to have three capable young guys tearing up the main event.

Didn't Punk go over them 1 on 3?
I know he didn't want to. Gotta make the Big Dog look strong.

Yeah, but that was towards the tail end of them being a thing

Punk went over them at the start of the Shield breaking up angle they ended up delaying half a year. The Shield really were the perfect storm. Not only was it 3 guys nobody had ever heard of being thrust into the main event picture right off the bat, but they were delivering on a weekly basis. Ambrose was cutting good promos, Roman has never been booked better being part of that group, and Seth was killing it in the ring. It was the first time since the Cena era began that felt like a change was on its way.
