Not a Chargers fan, but I recommend anyone visiting LA during the football season try to catch a game at the StubHub Center. I toured it recently and there is not a bad seat there. Chargers made the right call in choosing their temporary home.

Not like he was going to make the team, but Bears placed Reuben Randle on IR to make room for Aguayo.

I don't get why the bears didn't let aguoyo go through waivers so they could pay him less

His total salary, including his bonus, is under 1M. No need to risk having another team pick him up if they wanted him.

My point is I don't think another team wanted him

It's not like the bears are pressed for cap space so it doesn't really matter. Low cost low risk transaction as it is

Yeah he's 20th in pay/year among kickers. Would've saved like $400k max if they waited and took the risk that no other team was interested. If another team wanted him though, good chance he actually would've come at a higher price.

I guess my only question on the Kaep stuff is what would he sign for?

It's clear that he's worlds better than all these street level scrubby turds being signed now but again, is Kaep signing for a measly 1-3 million like aforementioned turds are or is he asking the Ravens (others?) for 8-12M?

Or is he asking to be the lowest paid re-signed starting quarterback*

Its PFT, so, hard to say if its accurate, but reports out of Seattle were that he didnt care about money

Seahawks, Kaepernick aren’t apart on money

And best I remember of the Baltimore situation, the GM/Coach wanted Kaep and the owner is saying no; so that too isnt about money

It has never been about the money.

I mean, we're talking the same NFL owners that punished the Redskins and Cowboys for doing something completely legal during the uncapped year, but for going against what the owners decided was in their best interests. Literal collusion.

Id be unsurprised to find out all 32 came together and said "dont sign him"

Why the Seahawks didn’t sign Colin Kaepernick

They ended up signing Austin Davis for 855K.

Just to be very clear here, I believe Kaep should be on a team right now and starting for a handful.

I mean yeah, if he's getting offered $3 million a year that's just someone being a dick so they can claim moral high ground.

You can argue Jay Cutler deserves more. I disagree but you can make that argument. But not even the biggest of trolls would argue Drew Stanton and Chad Henne deserve more than Kaepernick.

I wouldn't argue that Cutler deserves more for even a second.

But the Seahawks aren't going to pay him 8-10M to be a backup when they are paying RW 20+.

if Gase didn't have the prior relationship with Cutler, I 100% believe that the Dolphins would have signed Kaep instead

When the ravens are 2-14 and no one comes to their games or buys merch and they lose money anyway, they'll regret not signing him. Enjoy Curtis painter or whatever shit qb theylol tank with
