Hmm, I wonder if the tour will be announced today with tickets going on sale Thursday to coincide with the single premiere and album announcement.

 

I was going to make the trek from Cleveland until I saw that it's on a Thursday. Kind of bummed. Hopefully there will be more shows nearby that I can hit up instead.

 

I will be there. Live about 10 minutes away.

 

That's sick man! Glad that post will serve someone well. I would rather a true Blink fan be able to mark their calendar to be able to grab tickets right away.

 

That's weird...when you open the even in Ticketmaster, it says that it no longer exists in their database?

Yeah, maybe that paper is jumping the gun a bit or something. It seems odd for a random Bethlehem, PA show to trickle out a few days before everything else.

 

Also isn't Blink supposed to be at Amnesia on 6/23?

 

Good call! If that's the one in Montebello, than yes.

Edit: I know the festival is multiple days, so they may not be playing on the 23rd. Or the small paper was given the wrong info.

 

There was an article that said tickets go on sale Thursday at noon so I assume Thursday will be a huge info dump.

I'm okay with infodumps, but I hate when the infodump involves tickets going on sale two hours later; why can't they just announce dates on Monday/Tuesday, then hype up the song reveal on Thursday/Friday with tickets going onsale Friday? Unless the onsale that day is presale, that's okay IMO

 

Agreed, they should give us at least 24-48 hours notice before any tickets go on sale

 

I'm not far from Bethlehem, but those prices are out of my range right now.

 

I am fine with the data dump haha. They can do radio premieres as they choose. However, you can stream the song with tour info below it on one page. I am fine with that. While I am streaming the song I can purchase tickets. But, I can understand the other side as well.

 

I mean, I understand that it can kinda cut down on fastest finger, and it's kinda different if it's a smaller show, but (and this is just speculating/assuming) most people go to larger shows (ie. the type blink play) in groups, and it's kinda hard to ask people who aren't hardcore blink fans, 'HEYWANNASEEBLINK182IN4MONTHSTICKETSARE60DOLLARSINEEDTOKNOWRIGHTNOW'

 

I know that sounds like a lot of money for a show, but to see Blink coming back with tons of energy in what sounds like a large theater venue is pretty neat. Most other people will be getting the amphitheater treatment. I know budgets are what they are, but that show sounds pretty cool imo.

 

That's a very good point. I will concede that. Most likely you will have only a couple that are for sure in. In my case, I don't have a ton of friends in to this type of music so I will just buy 3-4 four and figure it out later. I can always re-sell for face value later.

What makes you think that? The white bars could have blink-182 name (though I don't see why they'd exclude that from the teaser) and album title.
