They played neither at my date lol

 

The one time I saw them with Tom was apparently the rare occasion that they didn't play Carousel so I've never seen him sing it and never will

They did it with Matt when I saw them though

 

Saw blink twice, they played carousel & man overboard both times...

 

when i saw them last year, that was the only time i've seen them where they didn't play both of those songs. other than the first time i saw them, which was before "Man Overboard" was released.

Yeah, I'm not sure yet. I would really like some Alkaline Trio activity, but I'm not getting my hopes up at this point.

 

I hadn't seen anything other than guesses. I left that group like a week ago cause it was getting too bitchy lol.

 

I left months ago for the same reason. That group is too negative, the Blink subreddit is too negative, the Trio subreddit is good but not very active. Chorus is the only great place to discuss these bands (I wasn't paid to say that).

 

Some dude started a poll to bitch out Ryan Key for selling handwritten lyrics and everyone was just piling on about how awful it was. The guy that made the poll actually questioned Ryan's morality, and this was a guy who said that blink canceling their LP shows was "maybe good news for Trio" and a "blessing in disguise" it's like Alkaline Trio is my favorite band. I get it, everyone's disappointed. I wish Trio would do a record before blink does another.

But it just doesn't take much for me to axe the slightest bit of negativity out of my life these days. Agreed that this is the only place I really care to discuss music these days.

 

I got something new: remember when it still wasn't completly sure skeebz would join full time, we were speculating/fantasizing about other possibilities. I think Jim Adkins, Adam Lazzara, Justin Pierre, Davy Havoc, Gerard Way and Mike Herera were popular ideas.

Which Cali/CDLX song would be most interesting with vocals by another singer?

 

Being that Mike has the most similar voice to Tom, I think he could've been a pretty good vocal replacement. I guess I would go with Bored to Death because I would love that song with the contrast of Mark and Tomlike vocals

 

carol heller/a female vocalist/guitarist would be doppppppepeeeee

 

Justin Pierre might not have fit as well, but would have been sick.

Not that I'm aware of.

 

Jordan from NFG maybe could have pulled off vocals but I couldn't see him playing guitar too. Honestly, we're so lucky we got Skiba. He was the perfect choice both for singing Tom songs and writing new ones too.

 

And I'm glad they didn't ask Alex Gaskarth or some younger dude haha

 

Imagine if they replaced him with someone over qualified like Brendon Urie or something

Yeah we need another Justin Pierre/Mark Hoppus collaboration. Hangman is amazing.
