Playing catch up on everything I missed...

1. Hmm, very strange about the art change. I could take or leave the happy face but I thought it was a pretty neat easter egg symbolizing a blank slate. Has to be a legal issue though, right? Didn't Mark definitively state "no arrows" in the original post? It seemed very deliberate (and bad ass).

2. This is by far the best community on the web to talk about blink (and many of other bands). Really happy this thread exists, especially during this time of hype and what-the-fuckery.

3. I've never seen this interview but that was super interesting. He seems so lackadaisical at 1:43..

4. Hearing Mark talk about Neighborhoods like this makes me appreciate the album so much more. "It feels like everything we've worked on in our entire career." I think this is a consensus that many fans have come to (including myself), but it's really interesting to hear they felt the album functioned as a conglomeration of eras. Looking back on it, it was sort of like their "one last hoorah" to make something together.

5. I would love to hear him discuss the expectations of this upcoming album.

6. This whole retrospective interview of the recording process makes me so fucking stoked for the radio show.

So if that is indeed the single art they've been releasing piece by piece, I wonder if we should expect the proper cover art to be in the same vein or something entirely different?

It's incredible how young Mark looked at the beginning of the reunion compared to how we looks in recent photos. Time flies.

That venue was the closest I've ever been to blink. Front row and rowdy. Exactly how a blink show should be. I'm contemplating going. $60 is worth it

 

Probably more like 80 after ticket master fees.
