Messing around with my songs last night and now I'm thinking I'll do a Shadow of the Day & Messenger medley instead of two separate ones. I play messenger in the same key as SOTD to match my vocal range so it just makes sense.

If no one claims it and I have time for another one i'll also do Crawling.

 

When are songs due? I'd like to try this for the first time. I'd want "In Between"

Finished tracking drums for A Place For My Head. Broke a stick (using an electric kit) and got a gnarly blister from the heavier sticks I had to switch to.

 

I'm not sure what lp song I could do either haha

 

I sent my songs in. I also included a third song that I want to stay a surprise. If someone calls it beforehand @bradsonemanband , obviously use theirs over mine.

 

I just need to lay vocals down for my cover. Probably won't happen until next week though.

 

Damn you guys are quick! I wasn't even planning on recording mine for another couple of weeks

 

I don't even know what song to do yet. Or how to record it lol

i haven't had a chance to toy around with it yet, but maaaaaaybe! i'll call it out if i do, for sure.

 

I recorded most of the music for my song, and then I tried laying down vocals......total disaster. I'm definitely gonna have to rerecord this in a different key.

 

Is it bad if I do One More Light acapella? I feel like the song lends itself to it. But if people think that is a waste, I can give the song up to someone else...

I finished all my music for A Place For My Head and then tried to do vocals... after hearing me rap I've decided it's in EVERYONE'S best interest if I drop 99 Problems and just focus on making APFMY sound tolerable... that's the goal, tolerable.

@bradsonemanband - I'm giving up on 99 Problems. I guess I have 100 now.
