Oh I know I Prevail is easily the biggest band on that tour, what I don't understand is why they are so popular.

 

New big band for a new generation of teens. My friend walked by their set at Warped the other day and said from what he saw, no one in the crowd looked over 18.

 

Marketing. It's the most annoying marketing strategy on the planet (making memes with your music videos, photos, etc. and paying stupid amounts of money to get in suggested in people's feeds) but it works. It's appeared in my feed more than enough and I see people share it too.

 

that definitely sounds annoying, I'm glad I've never seen it.

 

Why would that be hard to believe? In Hearts Wake within the past two years has toured with august burns red, parkway Drive, amity, ghost inside, northlane (so did LMTF I guess), and warped tour.

LMTF has had a few tiny headliners and almost no support tours. One huge one but that's it. I'd be extremely surprised if they billed over In Hearts Wake

 

I initially never thought about how LMTF fell off the past couple of years. A reply that I got made a lot of sense.

 

ETF has had shitty management over the past few years. They fired a tour manager and hired the same one that New Years Day, I Prevail (see), and Beartooth uses. They used to do headlines show with no name bands, of course no one will want to go. They made enough money where they were able to get away with it but now need to get back into building the fan base.

 

I'm from NJ and I always go back around the holidays for TBS, Thursday, Starting Line, and Early November local holiday shows. Once in a while even TWY. Those few years without Thursday, TEN, or TSL were kind of weird...

 

I hate how they meme their own songs. So obnoxious to see "Bet this song will get stuck in your head!" or "When the song kicks in" banners around their own music videos. I personally think it's super self inflated but hey, it works for them.

 

I just listened to I Prevail for the first time and made it about a minute into Scars before switching back to Khemmis. I'll leave this convoluted mediocre popcore to the youths.

 

Thursday is either announcing a tour or new album tomorrow at 10am

 

I'm not sure if I had heard of I Prevail, I thought everyone was talking about It Prevails

 

Pretty much true. Me and my two friends (I'm 26 and they're 31 and 34) saw their headlining tour last winter and felt like some of the oldest people in the venue. A handful of old Nu Metal dudes in their 40s were present, though. Coal Chamber shirts and JNCOs included.

The show was fun, though. I Prevail and Wage War were both very enjoyable imo

 

I watched I Prevail at Warped, and they had the biggest crowd I think I've ever seen at the festival. Aside from maybe ADTR in 2011 or Rise Against in 2012.

 

Sleeping with Sirens announced a popup show. This Thursday the 10th at the Pyramid Scheme in Grand Rapids. Tickets are on-sale now.

 

Any news on an Asking Alexandria avenged sevenfold tour?

 

Happening early 2018 if I remember correctly. Probably won't be announced until after Metallica tour is done.

 

How accurate is that info though I heard it once then not again?

 

I was super excited when fusion tweeted about a "huge band" playing at the pyramid scheme. Then it was SWS. I literally laughed and went on with my night.

 

Yeah SWS isn't my thing. I was hoping a band coming through Lolla or something.

 

I believe it was a rumor in here at some point. If there's early 2018 dates announced by any of the support bands I guess we can assume it's not real. To be fair though in All That Remain's announcement of the tour with FIR they said there was more dates to come.

 

I wonder if that's the a7x tour it would be weird to go from touring with a7x to falling in reverse lol
