Page can have some decent matches, it's just hard to remember he's there sometimes

 

He grew on me at the WotW show we went to, but most people would probably think its a band until I told them

I understand why they would do it this way, but locking VOD's behind the subscription is kinda dumb, IMO.

 

Page's last two PPV matches have been kinda great. The match with Jay Brisco ended in a crazy bloody way. The strap match with Kaz was kinda sick too. He needs more personality. Brooding all of the time isn't doing much for him. I think more time on Being the Elite will help.

 

Totally agree. Though, with Twitch, there isn't much of a reason to subscribe to wrestle circus when they only go every month or two. Now that youtube has loosened their policies on ads, they should throw up individual matches there.

 

Yeah, if there was a weekly show or every other week, I'd consider subbing. But they advertised their next show as September 9th, I think, during the stream. Plus, I don't know if I like the commentary enough to make it must-watch. Particularly found the tag champ match hard to focus on because the commentary was awful.

I haven't watched in about a month or more but I saw the main event for tonight and I think I'm gonna tune in.

Have I missed anything noteworthy recently?

 

I want to say the show was fine before the intermission. Having a single guy on commentary worked more for me than bringing on the guy who didn't know what he was talking about and sounded like he was asleep most of the time. Rich also didn't know how to pronounce the names of some of the talent. Hearing him say 'ARE PEE GEE Vice' a few times sounded incredibly silly.

I'll keep watching because their upper card talent has been a ton of fun to watch. I'm happy to see Lucha Underground talent in big matches. Between them and WCPW, the booking has been a lot of fun.

 

They need to take a long hard look at Nia. She clearly got called up too early and has been pretty unsafe. Not sure she should be spotlighted. Though, Raw has shit for talent on the women's side.
