I mean no damage is kind of a misnomer there. A sprain is damage, damage that takes a little time to heal. It's not a complete tear, or even a more serious partial tear like a grade 3 sprain, but it's still structural damage to the knee.

even without curry im sure they will get to the WCF which don't start until middle of may. they will be fine.

  5. Hopefully he has a quick recovery and he's back on the court 100% healthy within 2 weeks.

I'd give it another couple before any of these younger teams can be considered true contenders. But it's for sure going to get tougher. Aka LeBron probably only has one more guaranteed finals appearance after this season.

Maybe Curry's injury will be like Ibaka's a few years ago when they said he would miss all this time and then was back in two games.

  8. I'm not sure it's even that far off this year. Obviously the top half of the West is better but the bottom half of the East is way tougher. The gap between the Rockets and Pistons, for example, seems vast.

  9. man, I hope so. I sprained my mcl in December (a bit worse than curry's though) and though it's been about 2 1/2 months since the last time I hurt it, it still doesn't feel quite right. Lucky for curry his seems very mild

I would love the C's to survive this series if only for the bloodbath fracas that a Cavs/Celtics series would be. Someone might die

  11. Yeah that sounds totally awesome

Stein's tweet implies two week minimum. Wonder which is right.

I'm banking on a Miami/Cavs ECF because that'd be a sick series. Gotta get through Indiana/Toronto first

as long as four of the five best teams in the league are in the west, I cannot see how that first sentence is true

Don't recreate the scene, or reinvent the meanings Supporter

I would much rather have the Hawks. The Cavs match up way better against them, I don't have to cheer against Brad Stevens, I don't have to watch Isaiah burn us, the list goes on. You guys have a good "team" and that would worry me.

Well, this Heat-Hornets game is the most interesting one I've seen in the playoffs thus far. Hopefully Miami can pull out a win.

Thunder playing dreadfully lazy defense tonight. Sigh.

  19. I'd like to see an underdog Hornets victory in this series. not because of anything Miami has done, but because I'd love to see Linsanity and a Uconn-esque Kemba heat up and carry them to the conference finals or something.

Courtney Lee was possibly the best trade acquisition the Hornets have made mid-season in years.

Didn't expect this Heat-Hornets series to drag out so long after the Heat came in hard in Games 1 and 2. Hopefully a home game can put the series in perspective for them.
