If they give up picks for a backup caliber quarterback then that's much worse than signing Jay Cutler.

 

I really hope they don't get Randall Cunningham though

That 4-5 game stretch where Moore won a bunch of meaningless games after the team was eliminated gave everyone false hope. It was also the highlight of that season, sadly. :\

Also, trading for Brock isn't the worst idea.

 

When you remove context you can make anything sound like anything. Giving up a sixth rounder for Nick Foles is not worse than deluding yourself into believing your buddy still has one left in the tank. (Your = Gase, for the record)

 

I don't care if the pick is a conditional 7th. It's still an asset.

 

And? Foles is better than Cutler and he's worth losing a guy you probably end up cutting after his rookie year anyway. That's just as absurd as saying Cutler is a good fit because he "knows the system."

 

He's really not, but I'm done with this. It's been apparent from the start that you have some deep hatred for Jay Cutler for some reason.

No, it just is not logical. I don't care if you don't like it but don't degrade my point as if I'm biased against Cutler lol. He's a 35 year old quarterback who has had half of his last six seasons ended by injury. I love Romo but my reaction would be 100 percent the same if we were talking about him.

 

Did we all get spoiled by Adrian Peterson and Peyton Manning or do I just have this massive misconception about football in that you can't just not practice and workout and still be just as good?

How do you know that he's not working out? This is all so assumptive.

 

It is literally just as assumptive to think he maintained his same regiment. I am assuming he retired and is no longer on his same routine. You are assuming the opposite. If one of us is provably right, I am unaware of it.

 

I stated my opinion about what Miami should do here and based on everything we've seen, they think it's the best option for them as well. Calling my thoughts irritating earlier was degrading too but you didn't see me go and cry about it like you did when the Cutler information started coming out:
