I've been doing really well in Splat Zones but that's about it for ranked matches.

 

Media Create sales (7/24/17 - 7/30/17) - Nintendo Everything

Dragon Quest 11 sold 1.15 million copies in its first week in Japan on 3DS, outselling the PS4 version, which is also no slouch at just below a million.

 

Also Persona Q2 for 3DS is happening

 

Snagged a lightly used black New 3DS from Black Friday last year off of eBay today. Still kicking myself for not jumping on that back then but I'm happy to have on on it's way at a not-too-terrible price!

Also, if anyone is in the market for a standard black/grey New 3DS XL, hmu.

 

i have my first 3ds which is a discontinued pearl pink one laying around, i know i should try to sell it since it goes for a decent price and i never use it, but it's so cool looking.

 

I've never been into the 2DS form factor but once I came across this import model, I was in love. If only I knew more Japanese.

I ended up getting a New Nintendo 2DS and I love it. So much lighter, and I love the wide-screen. No complaints on my end

I need to get back to playing Splatoon. Keep starting the day with the plan to play some after work and then I get dragged into something else.

 

In ranked what do the cracks in the progress bar mean?

 

You get four cracks. What happens next depends on your current rank: if you're C-, the bar empties. If you're C or above, there is a line on the progress bar - if you get 4 cracks and the meter is to the left of the line, the bar resets and you lose a rank. If the meter is the right of the line, the bar resets but you keep your current rank.

Ooh good info. I feel like there's a lot about ranked that they don't really explain super well or at all so I'm always just kinda just doing my best without really knowing what any of the stuff means haha

 

I have a lot of trade in credit on Amazon, and keep trying to catch a Switch in stock. Has been pretty difficult when they sell out in minutes.

 

It's funny because in Europe they have been readily available in stores for weeks now

 

Just to make sure I've got this right: never played a DS but it's going to be a while until I have the $600 for a Switch + games. Thinking of grabbin' a cheap recycled 2DS this weekend - I can play all the 3DS games on it and just lose the 3D component right? Are there any major disadvantages to me cheaping out on a 2DS?

Not really. Only thing you'd miss out on is not being able to play SNES virtual console games and Xenoblade (also any games that require the *new* system). I bought a 2DS last year for Pokémon and upgraded to the "new" 3DS on Black Friday. It was a nice entry point to get back into things, but I was quickly wanting to upgrade to something bigger and more portable, ha.

Haha that's crazy. Gamestop had some bundles last week that were tempting, but I really want to use those credits. Just going to have to hold out.

oh hell yes, Wargroove easily one of my most anticipated
