I'm in New York so I've never really had any other bagel. But people always say our carbs are the best in general.

 

bagels from new york are the best. no where outside the tristate can even make good bagels lol

100000% true if you're not here you're eating trash bagels sorry about it

 

I try not to eat bagels at all unless I'm in an area of high Jewish concentration. lol

 

NY bagels - specifically Brooklyn at least in that i was born there and am partial to the region - are top-tier tbh. Jewish joints kill it in particular. PA makes okay bagels. but butter on bagels never works for me, i just go cream cheese + the typical cream cheese flairs or no toppings. onion, everything, and jalapeno cheddar are the heavy hitters for me, and regrettably i've never seen a bialy outside Brooklyn but it remains my head-and-shoulders favorite

 

yeah I've only been to New York twice, but it actually blew me away how much better the bagels there were than anywhere else

Imagine being able to take your freshly baked NY bagels, pretzels, italian bread, kaiser rolls, irish sodabread, etc. directly off the assembly line:

 

To me, this is literally bagel perfection. From a trip to NY for me. LOOK AT ALL THAT LOX

 

Bagels aren't really a thing here, like when you say bagel I picture a plain bagel with cream cheese on it.

All we got is Einstein Bros

I live in bagel ignorance, they are simply a vehicle for me to deposit cream cheese in my mouth.

 

Boston does have some really good bagels (bagelsaurus) but on the whole NYC is the bagel king for sure.
