Dude, that's pretty cool. Most people don't really have anything they are into and you have something to show for that.

 

Also it looks like an entire boot camp class from Camp Pendleton got to go to a Padres game. I'm jealous.

 

I just saw they want to add Drill Sergeants back to AIT. My AIT was a year long. Have fun with that, kiddos.

Haha, yeah that looks bad. Honestly I think the OSUT is a model they should try for most MOSs. I was usually impressed with the infantry and chemical soldiers I would get from it.

 

I think most of the guys who went to Benning got squared away pretty quickly. Most of the chemical guys I knew had a good head on their shoulders as well. I don't think the people who went to Jackson really got much discipline out of basic though. My DS's were way too friendly with us.

 

Might be the best comparison for me as well.

Or really I'd be some side character that's not part of the group on any given show

I had a manager who called me Howard from Big Bang Theory but I think (hope?) it was just because of the size of my nose. I did not appreciate it much

Currently a week into the worst cough of my life. Going to the doctor tomorrow, because I'm worried it's bronchitis. Hopefully its just allergies.

 

I hadn't been to the zoo in years but I actually went recently, and the otters alone made the price of admission worth it. So adorable

I'm so happy I started doing sinuses rinses. Zyrtec helps too.

 

Sometimes I sort of feel like Dr. Cox. I rant a lot.
