I bought one immediately because I'm a sucker.

 

Me too apparently. This & the signed CD I bought the other + the crazy overpriced $45 vinyl that I haven't pre-ordered yet but plan to soon, and this woman has successfully conned me out of a good chunk of change for this album, and yet I still feel like the winner.

 

I think she really wants the number one album. Digital downloads are 3.50 on Her store (and even though I have the cd and preordered the vinyl, I bought to have an extra presale code for the San Diego show)

 

She can't really be struggling for it though right? Who else is even competing with her this week? I know there was Tyler the Creator and Meek Mills but I can't see either outselling Lana. Unless Linkin Park is getting a massive bump, but I can't see it being enough to put one of their albums to number 1.

Okay so I've really been trying to get into Lana over the last couple of days, by listening to the Essentials Playlist on Apple music.

Really liking her so far. Favourite so far is probably High By The Beach.

Where should I start with album wise? Newest one? Debut?

 

Born to Die

 

I'd go in order of her four main albums, and then after that go back to Paradise and her other songs floating out there like Serial Killer (especially Serial Killer).

 

Cool. I love the 3 or 4 off that record that I've listened to (Video Games, National Anthem, Summertime Sadness, Born To Die), so sounds like a good plan.

if the only songs i could listen to for the rest of my life were "13 beaches" and "cherry", i wouldn't even be that disappointed.

Just waited outside the venue awhile. There was only like 20 people waiting and she came out and gave a little time to everyone. Signed my ticket and took selfies and had small talk

HITS Daily Double
Almost Tyler. (good for him) and I think I read that Meek's previous album sold something like 250k?
I am kind of surprised lana didn't do more though.

 

Oh wow that was much closer than I thought, but yea that's great for Tyler. He deserves it too! I'm not that surprised about her numbers though. I thought she'd maybe do 130k, but I've been over predicting everyone these days.

 

Did she really play Change and Get Free? That's amazing. Looks like it was a great time.

 

Yes she did but get free was only up until the end of the first chorus + it was acapella

 

Still sounds awesome (but I assume that's the song people screamed through which would've made me so mad haha)
