Wondering if things are about to go badly south with the girl I've been seeing.

Thursday night, she asks if she will see me this weekend. I said that if she wants to, then she will. Since We both had Saturday plans, we decided to have a night in. Films, sofa, wine and being lazy, basically.

Midway through yesterday afternoon, she messages me to say that work is pissing her off and she just wants to stay home. I point out that that would be a sad way to spend the evening. As I arrive home from work, I get a message saying that she's not coming over. I don't say a lot back to that (other than "K."), because she's basically just guaranteed me a boring night at home, which didn't sit all that well with me, since she was the one who asked to do something in the first place.

I've had nothing from her today at all (she knew I was out and about at something she could have joined me for), which is odd.

To be honest, I didn't see this leading to anything major now anyway. I just don't feel all that compelled to make it a serious thing with her (there's nothing wrong with her to me either, I just don't have that feeling that I want to move things into being a proper relationship), but I didn't think it would end up going like this.

Bleh.

 

may just be overthinking it @MrCon, although i wouldn't doubt if the "that's a sad way to spend the evening" didn't irritate her a bit

she may just need / want some time alone to get over the work issue. i know sometimes it helps to be with others to get over the negativity, but sometimes that's just more grueling and more than fun and adds to the frustration. give her the weekend and text her Monday morning.

 

I feel the frustration of cancelled plans. Always bums me out more than it should. I agree with @marsupial jones in this case though, sometimes bad days can be mended by hanging out with others sometimes it just puts you in a "fuck everything" mood where hanging with others would probably be an all around unpleasant experience haha.

Tinder has such a massive spam problem. I'd guess 80% of the profiles I see are spam. They're always terribly obvious too. Like they use photos of famous people like Emma Watson sometimes it's great.

alright I have like 2 different tabs open of this thread from different places lmao so I don't know how old of a convo I'm resurrecting but I took the love languages quiz!
It was my first time taking one of those quizzes. My top 2 were tied for Quality time and Words of Affirmation. Especially after reading the description I feel that Words of Affirmation is definitely true but not sure I agree with quality time. Of course it's important to me but I don't think it's THE most important.
I also think physical touch is SUPER important to me but the way the questions were worded I found myself choosing away from them. So I scored lower on that one but in reality I think it's one of the most important ones.
