Listened to basically the entire discography today. Only one or two songs I am not keen on, but they must have one of the most consistent discographies in our scene.

Can't wait for the EP, nice to know it's something so cool and different.

i have such an emotional connection to these albums that theyve all held up well for me.

i was talking with @Deathco_019 about this last night on skype, i think TWY have the potential to be like a Thursday or a Saves The Day or an ETID with a strong discography and a fondly remembered legacy. The Upsides made such a splash and even today bands will have "we sound like TWY" or "RIYL TWY" in their descriptions and their music holds up well under scrutiny for those of us that latched on to it and still enjoy it. Do i want them to shake things up on the next album? of course! all the guys in the band are wildly talented with so many influences that i firmly believe they could produce something like an In Reverie or No Devolucion that just pushes them into new territory, but im also very much content with what theyve been doing and the flashes of experimentation sprinkled throughout all their records. as i said above in my very, very long thesis about the bands music/storyline, these guys just mean the world to me and im really really excited for the start of a new album cycle.

Yeah I can't wait for another TWY tour to roll on through Jersey. Had a ton of fun last October at Starland Ballroom. One of my favorite live bands by far.

I always go back and forth between Suburbia and TGG as my favorite. Tough choice for me.

I haven't seen TWY since the Chicago TGG release show. It's been a while.

  11. That was one of the most memorable weekends of my life. I went to the Upsides show and some dude in the crowd broke my nose during Fireworks' set. Went to work the next morning with two black eyes. Good times.

i only went to suburbia and TGG but i hung for the first time with a bunch of people i'd been talking to for years @JaytotheGee @Craig Ismaili @subplotofcrows @Thomas Nassiff

plus that's the weekend when i said hi to zack and he totally ignored me

In 2011 I saw them three times in the span of a couple months. The Suburbia release show, then at Warped, then on the Pop Punk's Not Dead tour with NFG. It was a good year.

I'm definitely a Suburbia kind of guy, but honestly I think all four are 9/10 or above records.

Outside of GSI, TGG is my least favorite.

Haven't seen them since the album shows in 2015 but this band meant a lot to me for a good stretch of time and I'm interested in what they do next, especially if they decide to switch things up a bit

TGG is their best, Suburbia is my favorite. Upsides is solid and still holds up, and I liked NCTH.

For me, TGG is their best front to back at this point

TGG is definitely great, but i dont think anything tops Suburbia for me personally. Came out swinging was one of the songs that got me really into pop punk and there isnt a bad song on that record in my opinion.

    not a doctor

    I agree.

Though it is tough to distinguish how much of that feeling stems from nostalgia, there's no doubting how fantastically solid TGG is from front to back.

Aside from, "We Could Die Like This" getting a bit repetitive, I have no gripes with the album.

When "Passing Through A Screen Door" released, it was on repeat my entire train ride back to college. What a time that was.
